Fifth-year senior center who looks to challenge for the team's starting post
position with the departure of fellow 7-footer Marcus Campbell... Rates as the
tallest basketball player in MSU history to compete at the varsity level...
Three-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll who earned his bachelor's
degree in sports communication this past year... Currently seeking a second
undergraduate degree in communication... Averaged 12.7 points (40-of-69 FGs for
58%) as well as a team-leading 10.6 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game this past
May in leading Sports Reach to a 7-0 mark during a goodwill tour of the Far
East... Scored in double figures during all seven tour outings overseas,
highlighted by 18 points during the second contest and followed by 10 points, 14
rebounds and six blocks in the team's next game... Enters the 2005-06 season
having made 75.6 percent (34-of-45 FGs) of his career field-goal attempts...
Made his first 19 attempts of his collegiate career, sinking all dozen shot

most of the 2002-03 season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn lateral
meniscus in his left knee... Hard-luck injury trend began during his redshirt
freshman season at State when he sat out the entire 2001-02 campaign after being
hampered by a stress fracture in his right foot.
2004-05:
Averaged 1.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per contest last season while making a
career-most 27 appearances and more than quadrupling his minutes played from the
previous season... Ranked third on the team with 13 blocked shots on the year...
Shot 66.7 percent (22-of-33 FGs) from the field and 57.1 percent (8-of-14 FTs)
from the line for the season... Posted career highs in points (8), field goals
made (4) and attempted (6), and blocks (3) a year ago in win at Arkansas...
Totaled six points (3-4 FGs), four rebounds and two blocks versus
Arkansas-Little Rock... Hit all three shot attempts in six-point effort against
Florida A&M... Grabbed a career-most eight rebounds and added six points in
opening-round SEC Tournament victory over Georgia... Earned his first collegiate
start in league opener versus Auburn... Shared the team's Most Improved Player
Award for the 2004-05 season with Dietric Slater.
2003-04:
Averaged 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in making 13 appearances (47 total
minutes) in 2003-04... Connected on all 12 of his field-goal attempts during the
2003-04 campaign... Hit all three shot attempts and had two rebounds in home win
over LSU... Posted season highs in points (7), rebounds (7), minutes played (9),
field goals made (3) and field goals attempted (3), along with earning his first
career assist and steal, versus Tennessee... His seven boards against the
Volunteers surpassed his previous career collective rebound total (6)... Had
four points (2-2 FGs) and three rebounds against Tulane... Also scored four
points versus McNeese State.
2002-03:
Sat out most of the 2002-03 campaign after undergoing corrective surgery in
November to repair a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee... Did make his
collegiate debut on Dec. 2 with a three-minute home stint against Alabama A&M...
Recipient of the team's Academic Award in 2002-03 and earned status on the SEC
Academic Honor Roll for his 2001-02 classroom efforts.
2001-02:
Received a medical redshirt season for 2001-02 after being hampered by a stress
fracture in his right foot.
