International Scouting Service Sample Player Report DATE:
Aug. 31, 2011
GAME:
Spain vs. Poland (Euro Championship)
PLAYER/#9
: Felipe Reyes
Intl.
TEAM:
Spain National Team –Real Madrid (club team) DOB:
3-16-1980 HEIGHT:
2.06m WEIGHT:
NBA POSITION: Center-PF Physical:
Strong and solid with good muscle mass. His arm length is proportionate to size.
Good speed up and down full court. He plays with a chip on shoulder (in good
sense). Not a great leaper. He is well coordinated but mechanical. Shooting:
Has greatly improved range and accuracy on jump shot. Can attack basket from
medium range w dribble and is an aggressive offensive rebounder which may be his
best trait. Good team player. He sacrifices individual numbers for collective on
offensive sets. Gets a lot of garbage baskets and is very active, relentless. Position
Offense:
Prefers low blocks. Not as accurate as a shooter when receiving ball in movement
(pick and roll) as compared to catch and play down low. Back to basket skills
are good although shot selection sometimes less than correct. Defense
/ Rebounding:
Very aggressive defender. Lateral quickness is good. He is able to guard Centers
and PF equally well. At present is an excellent role player for Gasol & Co.
in this tournament - Euros 2011. He rebounds with position and although a decent
jumper, relies on strength and maneuvering. Miscellaneous:
Already over 30. Seldom injured in ACB career hard nosed competitor. Contract
details for subscribers. Overall
Rating:
NBA level he is a rotation player, nothing more. Has never shown any desire to
go to NBA and at this point of his career would probably not go if asked,
however his role playing could be used by a majority of NBA teams. However, with
new CBA coming into effect his price range would be accessible for all. |
