#1. Jonas Valanciunas

Birthday: 5/6/92

NBA Position: Center

Class: International

Ht: 6-11

Wt: 240

Team: Lietuvos Rytas

Country: Lithuania

He’s got big skills, nice hops, long arms good hands and has shown consistent improvement.

Big “Upside”. Hard worker. Plays D. Big heart. Real deal.

Nickname: Pearl . Will be only 19 years old in May.

Prediction: NBA starter+ at PF

I don’t think he thinks he’s ready. 2012 .... Maybe.

#2. Jan Vesely

Birthday: 4/24/90

NBA Position: SF/PF

Class: International

Ht: 6-11

Wt: 230

Team: Partizan Belgrade

Hometown: Moravska Ostrava, Chech Rep.

Player who prefers inside to outside, has a definite jumping ability and knows how to use his body. A Rudy Fernandez type that’s longer but has not the shooting capacity. Pretty quick first step and he can get inside and finish hard and fast. Can post and has various moves down under, discreet outside shot – streaky. A crowd favorite in Belgrade . Likes up and down game

He is a surprisingly poor FT shooter. NBA position is SF.

Gets lost out there on occasion and could rebound much more, especially on Def end. Individual D is OK.

Prediction: NBA starter at SF.

#3. Nikola Mirotic

Birthday: 2/11/91

NBA Position: SF/PF

Class: International

Ht: 6-10

Wt: 225

Team: Real Madrid

Country: Montenegro

Game Skills are good as he has played a lot of games in pro minor leagues in Spain waiting on call-up from Real. Now plays in Real Madrid (the last 9 months). Good understanding, overall good fundamentals. Long and thin. Not a great athlete which is his Achilles. Savvy. Nice variety of moves on Offensive end. Catch and shoot (make) excellent... Off the dribble, not so much.

NBA Prediction rotation player (maybe more depending on intangibles / and which franchise).

#4. Donatas Motiejunas

Birthday: 9/20/90

NBA Position: Power Forward

Class: International

Ht: 7-0

Wt: 224

Team: Benetton Treviso

Hometown: Kaunas , Lithuania

Talented, talented, lefty, skills but question is heart, maybe just a stylist (NBA speaking). He can score and in a lot of ways. Has big hands for a Euro. Can not defend and rebounding efforts are non- existent.

Asst Coach:  “has long way to go. Ok teammate, no way a leader...still immature needs lots of confidence, not mentally strong. So I ask, “compared to Bargnani”? and he says, “Yup... less skilled and just as “brave”.

Prediction: NBA sometimes starter, but will not reach his potential. Incidental cool fact... Looks like Russell Crowe.

(Due to certain character traits, at best a NBA rotation player).
